To the south, Andong & Busan

Taking a train ride south to flee Seoul from the typhoon, we first made a stop at Andong.

The trains we took weren't comparable to the bullet trains in Japan. Still they got us there and we had more time to enjoy the scenery ๐Ÿ˜†
Andong is famous for its folk village, with lots of old buildings still intact. We wandered around and it felt a bit like Ballenberg back at home in Switzerland ๐Ÿ˜

The next morning we took another train and ended up on the south eastern coast, Busan. The second largest city in South Korea and its busiest port attract tourists from all over the world. Our car did change ship in the port only a week before a big fire destroyed much of it! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

So we spent our time there visiting the beaches, temples and shopping malls, great bars and restaurants, doing laundry and relaxing, the usual ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hordes of tourists visited the Haedong Yonggung Temple, felt a bit like an amusement park...

Everybody rubbing the belly ๐Ÿ˜‚

Monks praying in the middle of the turmoil

Fancy laundry, with place to chill

Did we mention eating is great in Korea?! ☺️
